…and it feels so right. We had a couple of superfun gigs with Luther Wright and the Wrongs. The Elmdale Tavern in Ottawa is a great old place and was packed with good people who tromped there in sub-freezing temperatures in the midst of a transit strike. The Chislers followed us on the Elmdale bill. You can catch them in Wakefield at KAFFE 1870 on Feb 14. Luther Wright and his boys rounded out the night with a couple of rocking sets, keeping feet moving and faces smiling. They’ve got shows coming up in Montreal and also New York City. Check out their myspace for more info. The show at KAFFE 1870 in Wakefield was a lot of fun and it’s a great bar with a really warm vibe. Thanks to everyone who came out, especially the guy I decided to heckle from the stage for looking at his watch during our set!

Hopefully Shade will have some more shows coming up soon to tell you about. Until then, stay warm and dry and crank the tunes!
